Hmmm: Mike Adenuga, D’banj, 2Face, Wizkid, Davido & Many More Absent At Peter Okoye & Lola Omotayo’s Wedding

Peter Okoye & Lola Omotayo finally became a married couple after their traditional wedding on Saturday 16th of November, but there were a lot of missing faces in the crowd, ranging from a host of A-list celebrities to Mike Adenuga, who was supposed to chair the event.
The Globacom Chairman headlined the publicity build up to the much anticipated Sunday November 17 traditional wedding as Chairman. He didn’t attend.
Equally reigning sensation, Wizkid (Ayo Balogun) reported to have confirmed performance was no where near the event. Same for Nigeria’s longest reigning superstar, Innoncent Idibia (2face).
Others in the outstanding bracket that were absent include, Davido (David Adeleke), Dbanj ( Dapo Oyebanjo). Also inclusive in the missing list were fellow Globacom Ambassadors, Waje, Wande Coal, Omawumi, Bez, Burna Boy.
All the absentee notables were unavailable due to performance contracts – or issues relating to such.
And according to an observer, they had every moral right to be. The groom (Peter) had cancelled his bachelor’s eve due to a scheduled engagement in Ghana.
The wedding Chairman, Dr Mike Adenuga was represented at the occasion by Globacom big wig,( Chief Operating Officer) Mohamed Jameel.
The event held at the The Ark Event Centre, Lekki Lagos and was lifted with cameo appearances from internationally listed rich people, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Mrs Folorunsho Alakija.
With music by Sharp Band and aided by the complementary skills of D.J Stramborella, the hall radiated with performances from Flavour, KCEE, Iyanya, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, J Martins, Phyno, M.I, Lynxxx, Ice Prince and Naeto C.
The groom created a special session by taking up the challenge of compere Gbenga Adeyinka to dance for N10,000- an improved free from his very first payment.
Other celebrities that lifted up the engagement were Genevieve Nnaji, Emmanuel Adebayor, DJ Zeez, Karen Igho, Rukky Sanda, Tee-A, Kanu Nwankwo, Dr Sid, Ejike Asiegbu, Don Jazzy, Kate Henshaw, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mike Ezeruonye, Naeto C, Phyno, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Skuki, Olisa Adibua, Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Joke Jaiyesimi, Susan Peters, Funke Akindele, Timaya, Sunny Irabor, Steel, Ali Baba, Manni, Sheyman, May D, Toke Makinwa, Uti Nwachukwu, Toyin Lawani, Munachi Abii, Eva Alordiah and others.

Patrick Sawyer, Ebola And The Illuminati Connection – Femi Fani-Kayode

I disagree with those that have described Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian/American that single-handedly brought the deadly ebola virus into our shores, as a madman. He was not mad at all but just evil. He was a man that was on a mission. That mission was to spread the ebola virus to Nigeria and to infect and kill as many people as possible with it.
He was an evil man with an evil intention and purpose. Worst still, he was not working alone. Some people, and I mean rich, powerful and well-connected people, were working with him. As a matter of fact, they sent him on the mission.
They cultivated him, took care of him, paid him, brainwashed him, gave him all that he wanted in life and finally asked him to go on a suicide mission to destroy the lives of others and spread the deadly disease.

This was a clear case of bio-terrorism and Sawyer was simply a pawn in a bigger game and a wider picture. The motive of those who sent him was to spread fear and panic, to kill as many people as possible, to create a need for a solution to the problem, to prepare the ground for a new wonder drug that could cure Ebola, to create a massive market for that drug and to ensure that there would be massive profits from it’s sale.
As usual, it is the unbelieving, unprepared, undiscerning and naive Africans that have been used as the prime guinea pigs in this satanic venture. When will they stop destroying us and treating us with such contempt? When will they begin to see and treat us as human beings?
I guess the answer to that is when we cultivate the courage to stand up and say ‘’no more’’ and when we have the good fortune of being blessed with a ruling elite and a political class that truly cares and that is incisive, insightful, properly educated, enlightened and historically literate.
Just a few days ago, a Russian website magazine known as Pravda.ru considered what they described as the very real possibility that the American government actually created the Ebola virus as a lethal and effective biological weapon solely for the purpose of biological warfare. They wrote the following:
‘’The epidemic of the deadly Ebola virus that was born in the depths of the jungle, has been spreading around the world with an unprecedented speed lately. The number of victims, according to official figures, has already exceeded a thousand people. The number of infected individuals nears almost two thousand. The WHO declared the disease a threat of global significance. Are there ways to combat the fever? It turns out that there is a vaccine against Ebola. Pentagon scientists were developing it for 30 years, and all the rights for the drug belong to the government of the United States.
Two infected US medics received injections of the vaccine and they started recovering from the disease immediately. Why was this made public only now? Why is it that the USA holds all the rights for the use of the vaccine? There can be two most obvious answers found to these questions. As one can see, Ebola is a perfect biological weapon: it spreads quickly and gives nearly 100 percent mortality. Those having the life-saving vaccine can dictate any conditions to others. The second answer is a purely commercial interest. It is enough to arrange panic with the help of the media, as it was the case with several epidemics before, such as avian flu. Afterwards, it will be possible to sell the life-saving medicine “at any price’’.
This is an interesting contribution from the Russians and it is indeed food for thought. Yet, even though many may harbour deep suspicions about the role of the United States of America in this ugly episode and even though many may finger her, and indeed the entire western world, as being the sole culprits and co-conspirators behind the creation and unleashing of the Ebola virus on Africa, in my view, this may not necessarily be the case.
I say this because even though the majority of the leading players in this small and exclusive club from hell that is known as the Illuminati and that are involved in this strange narrative are undoubtedly from America and western Europe. It is by no means an exclusive club of solely Americans and western Europeans. As a matter of fact, some leading and well-known third world and African leaders and business people are also deeply involved even though they may not rank too high up on the ladder or in the pecking order.
Before anyone gets swept away with the idea that this is all about the evils of America, we must make it clear that the American people themselves, as opposed to their leaders, are as much of a victim of this secret cabal of wickedness as is anyone else. They are also wallowing in the throes of abysmal ignorance about what is really going on behind the scenes almost as much as the average African.
In order to get a clearer picture, it is important to take note of the following observations. The forces that are behind this evil are well beyond America and they are inflicting as much evil on America, and indeed the entire western world, as they are on the rest of humanity. Africa and the African people are not their only victims and they are not their only prey. They prey on all of humanity and they feed on the flesh and drink the blood of us all regardless of where we come from. The roots of these forces are ancient and they are very real.

They pre-date America and they were established by a tiny group of deep-thinkers, spiritualists, intellectuals, seasoned occultists and Lucifereans led by Adam Weishaupt in a place called Bavaria in Germany on the European continent in 1776. They are known as the ‘’Illuminati’’ (meaning ‘’The Enlightened Ones”) and their activities are buried in absolute secrecy.
Their symbol and operational structure is the pyramid and they are fortified, strengthened and protected by numerous ancient cults and fraternities, secret societies, false religions, pagan rituals, the control of the worlds banking system and money supply and the total domination and control of world politics and the entire world system itself. They are empowered directly, through a very complex and strict hierarchical system and command and control structure, by satan himself through his human agents and demons.
Their ultimate goal and objective is to establish what has been rightly described by many commentators over the years as a ‘’New World Order’’ which will be run by a ‘’One World Government’’ that will be headed by the evil soul that the Holy Bible describes as ‘’the beast’’, the ‘’son of perdition’’ and the ‘’Anti-Christ’’. The Koran describes the same individual as the ‘’Masih Ad-Dajal’’. Everything that is going on in the world today, including the carnage and bestiality of the numerous conflicts and wars that we are witnessing are silently being orchestrated by them.
They were behind the first and second world wars and now they are busy stoking fires all over the world, covertly funding and supporting the most vicious and horrendous types of terror groups and quietly preparing the ground for the Third and final World War.
They are relentless, disciplined, purposeful, unyielding, ruthless, demonic, sociopathic, inhuman, committed, focused and very clear-thinking. Their ultimate goal is to enslave humanity, to enthrone the rulership of satan and his agents here on earth, to deny God His rightful place in the hearts and minds of His children, to destroy all His people and all men and women of faith that refuse to bow to their perverse values and to compel humanity to accept their ‘’humanist’’ and ungodly philosophies and ways. These are the facts and anyone that does not believe that such an agenda or such a group exists needs to do a lot more reading, praying and research.

The fact is that their greatest source of strength and pleasure is the erroneous enunciation of the absurd notion that they do not exist. They want us all to believe that there is no such evil force and organisation and that there is no such hidden agenda. Yet sadly they do exist and they not only control much of the world’s economy, media and commerce but they also, through the process of subtle manipulation and sheer guile, install governments, prime ministers and presidents in the most powerful nations in the world and they tell them what to do from behind the scenes.
The inner circle of the Illuminati comprises of thirteen very powerful families that are all related to one another through complex and ancient bloodlines even though they come from different parts of the world. Between them these thirteen families, together with their underlings, fronts and associates, control virtually all the political power and money in the world.
Whether anyone chooses to believe it or not, the truth is that they are not entirely human and they are utterly cold-blooded. One of those families is the Rothschild family (which literally means the ‘’Red Shield’’).
I leave readers to do their own research on these families and to find out their links to the Illuminati. I suggest that they start by reading the numerous works of Mr. David Icke, an utterly brilliant man that has been described by his detractors as ‘’the world’s leading conspiracy theorist’’.

Shameful! Enugu International Airport Is Now A River

Pictures show a plane parked on a runway that is completely covered in water

The news that the airport in Enugu would be upgraded to international status was met with joy by residents and indigenes of the state.
However, it seems that their joy was short-lived.
Recent pictures of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport have flooded social media and they are not pleasant to see.
A Medview plane can be seen parked on a flooded runway while unfortunate passengers pile out of a plane and practically swim to the arrival lounge.
The relatively new airport was commissioned by President Goodluck
Ebele Jona
than in May 2013.

Big Brother Africa dumps Ghana over visas, not Ebola

Cape Town –M-Net's Big Brother Africa production in South Africa has dumped the Ghana contestants – not because of fears about possible Ebola, but due to South Africa's more restrictive and highly controversial new visa regulations.
Endemol South Africa, which is producing the 9th season of Big Brother Africa set to start in early September and filmed in Johannesburg, dumped the contestants from Ghana because they are unable to get the contestants in South Africa on time – and for them to remain long enough.
The reality voyeur show, shown on M-Net channels across Africa on MultiChoice's DStv satellite pay-TV platform, already searched for Ghana contestants in South Africa to put in the house before the 9th season starts on 7 September.
In a statement Endemol South Africa says Ghana's contestants "have not been rejected by MultiChoice Africa or Endemol due to the Ebola scare" but that Endemol SA "had to take the necessary measures to ensure Ghana is represented in Big Brother Africa IX and does not miss out of the show".
"The production company had no option but to find alternative Ghanaian candidates to audition in South Africa, as they could not hold up the process that lead up to the show."
Apparently the Ghana contestants did apply for visas for South Africa for the final stage of auditioning but their visas were not processed in time. There were also delays with the contestants producing additional documents such as bank statements.
Then the contestants from the West African country were only given visas for a maximum stay of 30 days in South Africa. However, two of them might be the final contestants left on the 91 day reality show, meaning that they needed a visa extension or special permit.
If they do want to stay longer in South Africa the controversial new visa regulations require that application to be made in Ghana. These extensions for a stay in South Africa can no longer be made in South Africa under the new visa regulations.

Why Exactly Do Girls Cheat?

Hey guys. So I’ve been wondering lately after I came across an article that talked about boys and why they cheat, and it seriously got me thinking so I decided to write this down. I know some may see this provoking (not the guys anyways) and some will not, but just to be clear that you found this piece annoying, well, just get over it because it has already been said.
Everything became a man’s fault the very day he accepted that apple from Eve. Since then, it has always been about men.  We no longer acknowledge the fact that Eve ate the apple before Adam, and Adam accepted the apple not because he wanted to disobey God, but because of the love he had for his baby girl Eve.  Well, men have been giving the dog title, everything bad a man does, he will be labeled as dog, especially when he cheats. Since man was born with insatiable desire which therefore makes them cheats a lot, why then do girls cheat?
Is it right to say maybe they were also born with the cheating spirit or do they inherit as they grow up or maybe they are been talked or pushed into doing it? Well if you ask me I’d say it’s in every human both male and female waiting to come out, all you need do is push the button. Non-cheaters are not saints, it just happens to be that their buttons have never been tempered with that’s why they (Pardon my French) that’s why we do not cheat. The reasons many guys give as to why they cheat may not be too different, let me just say the first reason I’ll give is human wants according to economics are insatiable. According to nature, if you remove ‘HU’ from human, you will get ‘MAN’ so basically the sexual desires of most men are really, really insatiable, some cannot just control their libido. But can the same thing be said about the feminine side? I guess so, or not.
Some guys will say they prefer to taste variety than stick to one food, but can it be said otherwise? Well, let me just face reality for a second. A normal girl/woman will not be as ‘boyish’ (if that’s the correct word to use) as sleeping with more than two men in a day except that’s what she does for a living.  But a guy/man can sleep with as many women as he wants in a day as long as he got the skills to carry that operation out.
But then the question still falls back to why girls cheat. Well, since my big head is too small to do all the thinking and get reasons as to why they cheat, I met a few people and tried to get different reasons as to why they think the opposite sex cheat, and well, I almost didn’t want to write this again after hearing some reasons because like I said earlier, it is always the guys fault and like ninety nine percent of the many reasons I got pointed accusing fingers to the guys. Wao, guys we done suffer.
So according to Osaki Romeo; it’s the usual one which is not being satisfied.
My coz Aneetah said some cheat for vengeance, more of a “do me I do you” thing if she doesn’t want to breakup with the guy; if she finds someone else interesting and different from what her guy is.
Amie, a much focused girl who wouldn’t even want to look at another guy whether he’s fine or not once she’s in a relationship said some girls cheat because they want to satisfy their romantic desires, if your boyfriend is not romantic, you may want to try other guys and see.
And Chanel (my would be wife if not for age difference) said they are looking for attention or maybe they are not into the guy they are with, or better still because they are lonely in the relationship.
Another issue that really needs consideration is ‘making out with other people while in a relationship’. Some don’t really see it as a big deal, but it really is a big deal tho. I thought you were meant to be with just one person when in a relationship? Why then would you consider making out with some other person?
Some say it’s not cheating, some say it’s just called having fun, and some don’t even feel guilty as long as there is no sex involved. But not all relationships are based on sex, so if you’re in a relationship where sex is the least issue and you make out with another person, will you call that cheating or not? Again this issue of being in a relationship without any affection is another reason for both parties to cheat. For the sake of God, what is really wrong with this generation serf? Why is everything about it is so extraordinaire?
So I asked the girls if they will consider making out with some side dude even when in relationship, and one said yea, she would and will not consider it cheating, but just two people exchanging tongue and saliva. And when asked what she’ll do if she found out her boyfriend made out with some side chick, she said it’ll hurt her, but as long as she’s the one he is with, she’ll get over it. Now, if I understand clearly, if she makes out with another guy, it’s nothing but just two people exchanging tongue and saliva but if her guy makes out with another girl, then she’ll get hurt…
Another said she will consider making out with another guy cheating (good enough) and said if she found out her guy made out with another girl, she’ll first of all find out who the girl is, and if it turns out she’s uglier than her, she will break up with him. If he ever considers doing that with someone else, she has to be Kim Kardashian or Beyonce’s kind of fine before she’ll consider forgiving. Well, all said.
So here is what a guy called Iyke (probably the shortest guy I’ve seen in my life) had to say when asked about his thought on why girls cheat. According to him, he thinks they cheat to pay back, some because they just want to; others do it to better their lives and that of their boyfriends (in some circumstances). When asked what he’ll do if he found out his girl cheated on him he said two wrongs cannot make a right so he’s not going to breakup or cheat back on her instead he’ll sit her down and try to find out what made her do that and find a way to make things right. Well that’s what good guys do ain’t it? Well, if you’re wondering why I interviewed only one guy, it’s because he’s the only good guy I really think I know (except me of course) and he’s been dating for a year plus, the only guy I know that has only one woman so far, the rest are chronic players.
So to cut the long story short and get over with this, since its 95% the fault of the guys that make girls cheat, they have a few advices for the guys. When asked what the guys have to do to avoid being cheated on, one said satisfy her always, be there for her, try to understand her so that when she is in a good or bad times you’ll know and above all, make her your soul mate, be sweet and treat her good. The other said if you are a ladies’ man (like hers) and you chose to be with a particular girl, then you should keep your d**k to your pants and stick to that particular girl and stop going out with others just because they want you. If a girl wants you, don’t want them back. Above all be nice, be what she wants, seek her opinion, appreciate her on little things whether nice or crazy, pay attention to her and be in the relationship and don’t let her feel like she’s the one that has to do everything and you’re just there as a male figure with a d**k.
So guys since the blame is all on us, you’ve heard what a few of them said, just try to work on it, not only guys but the girls too. Make your relationship stronger and better, those that have been in a relationship for more than a year or two are not better than you, you can do better to make yours go beyond that. Of course it’s not all a bed of roses but you can still pour roses on the bed and make it look sweet. For the girls I no know wetin I go talk o, but I actually was supposed to ask the guys what they think you girls should do to keep your relationship going, but I just realized I’m out of time and as a matter of fact, I gotta get out of here ASAP. So we could talk about that later…

Dangote Donates N150 Million To Fight Against Ebola

The richest man in Africa made the generous donation which would be used to build an emergency operation center

The fight against the Ebola virus in Nigeria has received a huge boost as Aliko Dangote has donated 150 million to the cause.
The donation was announced by the Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Foundation, Mrs Adhiambo Odaga during a media briefing at the Ministry of Health.
She said:
“After bilateral discussion with the honourable minister and his team, Dangote foundation has funded the establishment of the Ebola emergency operation in Lagos, that is being done through grant from the foundation of just a little over N150 million,”
"The strategy that our chairman is deploying is the strategy to respond and to commend government for the effort, and to show that all Nigerians are concerned. We will continue to discuss with the ministry about what additional support can be offered."
“The choice of the emergency operation centre as an investment for Dangote Foundation is based on the fact that is the critical platform through which the government is coordinating all that is happening to ensure that the crisis is contained,”
The first case of the Ebola virus in Nigeria was reported in Lagos after the entry of infected Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer.

”Life is not quantified by one’s success alone. The situation in your immediate environment also shows how you are faring . In terms of personal aspiration, I would say I am not fulfilled, because most of my desire to live in a society devoid of certain factors hampering proper standard way of living are not present in the lives of those living around us. Majority of people in our midst still live below poverty level.” he captioned one of the photos.

Jenner took to his Instagram to post a picture of a tee-shirt with Kim’s many crying faces on it which he captioned ‘My new favourite shirt’.

Burna Boy’s Mom Speaks About Her Son And About Being Fired As Manager

Some weeks back, rave of the moment artiste, Burna Boy, via twitter, relieved his mother Bose Ogulu who had been his manager, of her duties.

However in a telephone chat with Punch newspaper, his mother, Ogulu, said there is no role bigger than being the mother of a star and explained that her son did not “fire” her while still claiming she still manages most of his business activities.
She said,
“I was not in the country when the story broke and I have said I would not make any comment on it because it is totally unimportant. Whether I am his manager or not, he is my child and there is no role bigger than that. I am so shocked about how people made a big deal of the issue. I am not a musician or an entertainer, so I don’t owe anyone an explanation but he has done enough.
“They should just leave the poor boy alone. I am not a twitter reading person; I talk to him on a daily basis, so I am not interested in what is on twitter. I have absolutely no problem with my child and as far as his career goes, I still do what I have to do. I still do everything I used to do but I cannot always do everything. I was out of the country for about eight weeks, how much can I do? There is no issue with us and there is no reason to feel anyhow. It is something we discussed and I still do what I have to do, I still manage some of his accounts, transactions and endorsements but I can’t do everything. There is no issue there at all. If I have an issue with my son I would go and meet him. I still handle his corporate shows because nobody else can do that for now. I am only one person and I am not a young person and he is going
bigger every day. This is not something that should have been misconceived at all.”
Though her son also tweeted on social media that he wasn’t going to get married, Ogulu dismissed the tweet, saying it was laughable.
“The boy is 23 and if he feels that at his age he would not marry, he can change his mind in five years. He can even change his mind tomorrow. I am just laughing that he said he would not get married. How many people have said that in the industry and are married today? When I was younger, I remember saying that I would not get pregnant when I saw pregnant women but now, I have three children,” she said.

Man Arrested For Having Sex With Dead Bodies In Ebonyi

The suspect was accused of killing women and then having intercourse with their lifeless bodies

The police in Ebonyi have arrested a young man on allegations of murder and necrophilia.
The 20-year-old, identified simply as Chukwuma, is said to have taken the lives of 3 women after which he had sex with the corpses.
Details of the crime were made known by the Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Chris Anyanwu.
He said:
“We nabbed him after placing surveillance at a particular farm, where he usually waylays women who are going to farm or coming back from farm.
We got the information that he had killed three women in the same way. He has the habit of waylaying the women on lonely bush path.
Whenever a woman passes through the place he pounces on her and strangles her to death and havwe sex with the dead body.
“One of these women’s name is Anyigor from the same village. On July 15, she went to farm at a place called Okwulike but never returned.
Then, when he was later arrested, he (the suspect) confessed that he was hanging around that farm area when he saw the woman who is late now, and pounced on her, strangled her to death by grabbing her neck region until she gave up before he had sex with the dead woman and robbed her of N8,500, which he found on her.
“The suspect said he used the money to buy Nokia handset phone and used the remaining money to drink local gin called ‘kaikai’.
“The second incident happened a week after, on July 23, the victim is Mrs. Helen, a 54-year-old woman, who went to Egiagu village to farm and never returned.
“So, alarmed by her non-return, her son alerted the villagers and a search party later found her dead body along the lonely farm path. When Chukwuma was arrested, he confessed that he strangled the woman the same way he strangled the other two women.
The suspect reportedly blamed his actions on his annoyance with the people of the community who had taken to calling him a nickname he did not like.

Julius Agwu Reveals Reasons For Governorship Aspiration

The popular comic who had declared his intention to run for a political position, bares his heart about his conviction to take up leadership.

Top Nigeria comedian, Julius Agwu has revealed reasons why he wants to be the Governor of Rivers State.
The celebrity last week, had shocked the country, when a campaign poster for his gubernatorial aspiration was made public, with many quickly moving to brand it 'another joke' from the comic.
But Julius has been working to dispel that notion, citing reasons why he believes he is the right candidate for the position.
He told Airclip Gist: "I cannot really call myself a politician, but l am someone who prays and wish for things to get better than it is in this country. I believe I can help to achieve what my brother started in Rivers State. It is a known truth that Port Harcourt was the Garden City of this great country, but we lost that glory because of poverty and neglect, coupled with incessant militancy and kidnapping. Governor Amaechi has done well for the State, but we still need good hands after he leaves to continue the good work."
Julius got his mind made up after ceaseless calls from his friends and concerned Nigerians who wanted him to take up some form of Governmental position, and effect sweeping beneficial changes, became too much to handle.
Those calls made him look within himself, and realise that he had the vision and heart, to lead the people of Rivers State.
“Becoming the governor of Rivers State was not something that came up overnight. It was not on my radar back then. The people of Rivers State in the Diaspora and those in the State have been clamouring for me to come out as an aspirant. They believe I have what it takes to go for it. It just dawned on me that I indeed have what it takes. I have given it a serious thought and have given in to their pressure."
Julius Agwu's encouragement team, will also be responsible for the sponsorship of his political campaign, and he intends to run under an unnamed party, which also will have a Presidential aspirant in the 2015 Nigerian general elections.
Besides his lucrative comedy business, Julius Agwu also owns a studio, a construction company, and a band called 'Reel Laif Band'.

Nigerian musician, Sidney Esiri a.k.a Dr. SID’s white wedding to Simi Osomo may have cost over N25m by NET’s calculation. It should be noted that the wedding had several similarities with Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun and Tiwa Savage’s wedding in October 2013. On Saturday, August 23, 2014, Lagos Oriental Hotel on Lekki-Epe expressway, which served as the venue of the wedding, attracted several members of the Esiri and Osomo families, friends and colleagues of the couple. A staggering N1, 302, 000 ($8,000) was splashed on Simi’s engagement ring while her Melange white gold wedding band from the luxurious Frost jewelry store in London reportedly cost N2, 278,500 ($14,000). The modestly planned wedding turned out to be one of the grandest and most star-studded weddings in the month of August 2014. From the bride and grooms outfits to the wedding planners and security detail put in place, it’s obvious a lot of money was put into the planning and execution of the flamboyant wedding. The Esiri and Osomo wedding was a well-organized wedding by the bespoke wedding design and planning outfit, The Wedding Company, the same company that handled musician Darey Art Alade’s wedding to wife Deola and Basketmouth’s wedding to Elsie. A staggering N6m was reportedly put to good use by The Wedding Company to achieve a memorable day, while Uche Majekodunmi’s Newton and David decorated the reception venue for N2m. The venue of the wedding, the grand ball room of the Lagos Oriental Hotel, is usually rented for between N1.5m to N3m. For the record, Dr. SID’s wedding suit was a bespoke Tom Ford suit that goes for $4,000. Investigations conducted by Nigerian Entertainment Today Newspapers shows that Tom Ford doesn’t sell his menswear online. To purchase the designer suit, intending buyers needs to visit an upscale boutique to try it on before ordering a bespoke one. The gigantic white wedding cake cost a little more than N2m, according to a family source. Varieties of delicacies were in abundance as small companies that provided the canapés, ice creams and barbecues. All sorts of drinks were available, from soft drinks, to beer, spirits, wines, to champagnes; totaling up to approximately N5m. UK based Celebrity DJ, Producer and songwriter, Florence Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy was also on deck to spin on the turntables just as she did at the Tunji/Tiwa’s wedding alongside DJ Xclusive....
