Scam Alert: Organizers of Niger Delta Advancement Awards on the move again

The attention of the general public and relevant authorities has been drawn to the illegal extortion of money from unsuspecting Nigerians, in the name of charges for votes from SMS to the Niger Delta Advancement Awards (NDAA) Short Code.

This is an open call to relevant authorities like The Nigerian Communication Commission, the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission and the Nigerian Police, to torchlight the operations of Bunox Communications Ltd., organizers of Niger Delta Advancement Awards and the modus operandi of the award, as they have started publicity for the 2015 edition.

NDA Awards is one of the most celebrated awards recognizing outstanding Nigerians of Niger Delta origin, namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Imo and Rivers states. It could be recalled that the organizers advertised the awards in 2012, after their 5th edition held in Uyo in 2011, thousands of Nigerians, especially nominees from Akwa Ibom who we're fooled to Campaign for votes from their family, friends and fans who were deceived, as the award was not held, either was there an open apology tendered.

This time around, entertainment journalists and bloggers have reported several complaints received from concerned Niger Delta citizens, and have drawn the attention of the unsuspecting public, demanding that the organizers of Niger Delta Achievement Awards must prove beyond reasonable doubts that the award ceremony will hold this year, and that selection of nominees and winners from the nine states will be free of bias.
