Berlin International Film Festival 2015 to Honour Nigerian Director Nodash

The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, has been growing in leaps and bounds over the last few years and this year has started on a very good note as our very own young Director/cinematographer.
Nodash (a.k.a Adejuyigbe Adekunle) was recently honored by the international film community with the invitation to the annual Berlinale Talent Campus organized by the largest publicly attended film festival in the world, the Berlin International Film festival in Germany.
The Berlinale Talent Campus is an annual event that takes place in Germany where just 300 emerging filmmakers from all over the world are shortlisted to attend a series of training and networking events with some of the best filmmakers in the world.

Nodash was also selected as one of the only 21 cinematographers from all over the world shortlisted to take part in a special, exclusive, strictly-by-invitation cinematography master class.
Nodash belongs to the new school of Nigerian filmmakers who seem to be determined to make movies that are at par with their international contemporaries. And this achievement is proof that that dream is already a reality.
Generally regarded as Nigeria’s most unusual director because of his consistent unusual approach to storytelling Nodash usually shoots tv commercials, documentaries, high budget movies, and sometimes music videos. His body of work includes movies like Shuga, Journey To Self, and several tv commercials and documentaries for big brands like telecommunication companies, oil companies and the American department of state.
