With the third edition of the
Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NEC) around the corner, acclaimed rapper and
label executive, M.I is one of the speakers for the 2015 edition of the widely
anticipated conference.
The Chocolate City rapper will join Davido, Mo Abudu,
Eldee, Joke Silva, Sheyi Akerele alongside other top media personalities which
include Ayeni Adekunle, Alex Okosi, Tokunnbo Adodo, George Thorpe, Jason Njoku.
They will all be speaking on the interesting topic – Buying and Selling
Nigerian Entertainment and Everythng in- Between at the 3rd edition of the
conference billed to hold on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
M.I, whose real name is Jude Abaga, has won several awards including the Best
Hip Hop award at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009. He was nominated in the Best
International Act category at the BET Awards 2010. The rapper rose to
prominence in 2006 when his song, ‘Crowd Mentality’ became popular in his
home-town of Jos. and he has remained popular ever since. On 11 December 2008,
M.I released his critically acclaimed debut album, Talk About It. He is also a
music executive at Chocolate City....
